Pregame Sunglasses Are A Must

 Written By Matt Ferreira

The Boston Bruins took on the Philadelphia Flyers at Lake Tahoe and once again David Pastrnak stole the show before the game had even started. Coming out in his neon pink 90’s themed sunglasses, everyone in Bruins nation saw a huge game for Pastrnak, and he delivered.

Pastrnak ended the game with a hat trick helping the Bruins defeat the Flyers 7-3. Pastrnak scored his first goal 34 seconds into the game to give the Bruins a quick lead.

His second goal was definitely his most impressive one going short side on a tough angle against Carter Hart 46 seconds into the second period to break the tie and put the Bruins up 3-2.

Finally, Pasta finished his hat trick with only a few minutes left in third on a one timer on a pass from Jack Studnicka to seal the win against the Flyers.

We even got a funny picture of Pasta playing on his phone on the bench, which has become a meme from when earlier in the week when Felger and Mazz, sports radio hosts for Boston's 98.5, were discussing trading Pastrnak and first round pick for Sidney Crosby.

After the game Pasta put his sunglasses back on and was asked by the media why he was still wearing them, considering it was dark out after the game and his response is hilarious.

This is not Pastrnak’s first hat trick this season either, he had gotten a hat trick against the Flyers two weeks ago in one of his first games of the season. The Bruins have owned the Flyers this year winning all five matchups against them this year. With the win at Lake Tahoe the Bruins stay atop the East Division at 11-3-2, before taking on the Islanders on Thursday.
